Together, the
Hastings garnered over 250 Best In Shows with dogs from all groups and
bred over 28 different breeds from across all groups. In October 2001,
they received the Doberman Pinscher Club of America's Lifetime
Achievement Award. |

Pat has been involved in the dog
world since 1959. She career has progressed from owner-handler to
breeder, professional handler, educator and AKC judge for the Working, Herding and Non-Sporting Groups, 22 Terriers Breeds, Junior Handling and Best in Show. She has authored many articles that have appeared in a variety of publications, such as the Doberman Review, Dog News, NAIA News and the AKC Gazette

Pat has been very active in club work over the years, holding numerous offices, including show chair for all breed and specialty clubs to myriad committees. She was active in the Yakima Valley KC (Washington State), the Mt Hood Doberman Pinscher Club (Oregon) and the Doberman Pinscher Club of America and now also the Oregon Judges Group. |
Bob was involved in the dog world from 1948 until his death
in January 2002. His career included owner-handler, breeder, training school
owner and instructor, AKC rep, professional handler (for which he received
the Fido Award and the Kennel Review Award for Dog Handler of the Year), AKC
Judge (Working Group, Hound Group, and Best In Show), and emeritus
judge. With his wife, he evaluated over 250 litters per year and
mentored countless dog fanciers. |
